Today we began the GenPORT project. The four year project will create a portal that supports access to the plethora of excellent resources available on gender and science, to inspire and support action. The project is funded by the EU FP7 Capacities Science in Society Programme under the theme ‘Creating a transnational community of practitioners (Internet Portal)’. We are delighted to be working with five partners from across Europe — The Open University of Catalonia (co-ordinator), GESIS in Germany, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini in Italy, Matej Bel University in Slovakia, and Örebro University in Sweden. Read more about GenPORT in an article by the project director, Dr Juliet Wesbter.
